Our founder, David A. Smith, is an internationally recognized leader in innovative conference center sales and marketing practices and developed the sales training curriculum that the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) has utilized for more than 20 years.
Full Disclosure of Management Fees
CCMG does not engage in the acceptance of rebates, commissions, mark ups, or other remuneration typical to the industry. We charge a fair management fee and incentive based on performance. Furthermore, we have been able to demonstrate that our operating expenses are consistent with the lowest prices available for most goods and services.
Open Book Management
Team members should know the financial status of their workplace and their actions to increase profitability should be rewarded financially. Experience has shown a steady increase in departmental profitability due to the introduction of Open Book Management and profit-based incentives for all team members, regardless of job classification.
Corporate Conference Centers
Conference Center Management Group is the management company of Channel Point Conference Center in Boston, Massachusetts, which is owned by United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. The Company is responsible for the daily operations and marketing of the Center.
Outsourced Sales and Marketing
We provide "turnkey" sales and marketing departments for conference centers. We currently staff and operate the sales department of MIT Endicott House, located in Dedham, Massachusetts. This facility is owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
